Rooms where clean, with new furniture, looked remodeled but still had some small areas to work on like wall fixtures and bathroom area. Had a small fridge/freezer and that was the extent of the amenities. No hairdryer, coffee maker, iron, just nothing else. Could not beat the price though for just a bathroom and bed.
I am basing this review on this being a budget motel, don't expect the Hilton. Rooms were clean and seemed freshly painted, beds and sheets were clean, the floors are vinyl plank, no nasty carpet. Bathroom was clean but there was water damage at one end of the tub. Parking is good and the facilities are clean.
I love this place, you can't beat it for the money. The owners have been updating it. Its a old 50s-60s roadside Motel, my favorite kind. I stay here every time I get out of Memphis and ride my motorcycle in the mountains for a few days. Right in the middle of town close to everything.
This is a smaller older motel that we kind of wondered what to expect when we got to our rooms. However we were very pleasantly surprised. The rooms are all pretty well updated with fresh paint, tile showers, new carpet, new toliets and comfortable beds. The rooms smelled so good. Everything was very nice and clean. Our beds had nice clean sheets. You can tell the owners work very hard to make this a nice clean hotel and they have accomplished that. I would definitely highly recommend this place.
We came from Savannah Ga to ride the tail of the dragon and spend 4 days riding Harley throughout the smokies. We wanted to stay somewhere basic and clean. This place was perfect, charming and Tennessee friendly. No frills no fancy no bougie.. just a simple clean place to lay your head after a long day of play. Location is great, close to everything you need. Hr from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg. A hr from Deals Gap. Couldn’t ask for more. We’ll be back!!
